Mission Accomplished!

So it's Sunday... the day after my last post and end of the weekend, sadness! BUT I'm writing this with a very accomplished smile on my face because I managed to finished all the tasks I set out for myself!

Firstly, not only did I get unit1 of my Crime Scene Investigations course finished, but it has been marked and returned and I got myself a distinction! Having finished my Forensic Science course with 100% distinction, I was keen to keep the same standard in my new course and I'm over the moon with my first result. This essay was a nice easy started for my new course because it was mainly about outlining Forensic Science which I have already completed a course on. I expecting the next one to be a bit more of a challenge into the unknown, but we know I love a challenge!

Secondly I sorted through and purged my clothes ready for my new furniture! I also made sure I organised my remaining clothes which is probably a complete waste of time because when mother dearest does some washing she'll probably ruin the system... but for now it looks nice and tidy and I have a full to the brim rubbish bag of clothes that is going to charity as well as a load of band t-shirts that are going into storage because #memories! I have always been a bit of a hoarder and because I don't buy clothes very often I never throw any out... not an immediate problem but over the years my clothing collection grew and suddenly I just had to much! Not anymore though!

Thirdly, I got to the gym today and finished my week three of Coach to 5k! I'll admit this one was a struggle and having already seen what week 4 is going to be, well, lets just say I might not post again cause I wont be able to move! But I feel incredibly proud to be 1/3 of the way through the challenge and I can definitely feel the benefits! When I finished todays run I didn't feel as though I was pushing myself or out of breath, I more struggle with the strength of my lower legs but like my aerobic capacity has improved to the extent that I can complete longer runs now, I'm sure that strength will improve to. Either that or I just need new trainers!

Fourthly and lastly.... drum roll please.... I got the progress trackers on the website and they are live right now! There's a new page available on the websites main menu now and from that page you'll be able to click through and see all the games I've played, all the games I need to play, everything I've watched on Netflix and everything I need to watch on Netflix! I will say it has slowed the website down a bit because it's basically added around 1,000 images to the website... but now the bulk of the work is done and everything is live, I'll be analysing the site and cleaning up the loading times as time goes on. I'll also be adding more progress trackers as time goes by, like my college courses and places travelled and all that fun stuff but for now, rejoice in the fact the main ones are now there!

I didn't manage to get a game even started let alone finished which is #sad cause no bonus points, but I was watching Netflix basically the whole time I was updating the website and sorting my clothes so made a lot of unplanned progress there!

So that's it! All main missions in my story of this weekend are complete and I feel pretty good about getting them all done tbh! Its a massive change to go from doing nothing at weekends to making things happen, I don't feel overly rested but I feel good which just as good I think! I'll probably get an early night and sleep well tonight knowing that when I wake up to my new week, I have a few less things to do and I can start new things, what a feeling!

Happy Sunday everybody and I hope you have a great start to your week tomorrow.

Until next time
