Hello everyone,
I'm back, again, later than usual, again, where does time even go these days! I swear one day I'll get to grips with updating this when I say I'm gonna but its still new to me so yeah, bear with :P

Its the weekend! Yay! My parents have gone away and left me to look after their puppers, aka peace and quiet for two whole days! It's come at a really opportune time because I'm super close to finishing a few little projects/just stuff I've been working on so I've decided to use this weekend to (try) finish them all! This means I WILL be updating again before the weekend is over, aka tomorrow because sadly the weekend is only two days *cries*. SO here my to do list....
- Finish my unit one assignment of my Crime Scene Investigations course.
- Do my couch to 5k week three final run
- Sort through my cloths and purge ready for my new furniture to arrive
- Update this website with my previously talked about progress trackers
- BONUS: only when the other tasks are completed, start and finish and short game
SO that's what's going on with me this weekend, I probably wont feel like I've rested before I go back to work on Monday but I'm sure I'll feel proud of myself for getting shit done!
IN OTHER NEWS!
As previously mentioned I'm getting new furniture for my bedroom because my whole bedroom is basically being redone FINALLY. I, again, FINALLY, talked my parents into having my double bed actually upstairs in my room instead of the single bed they had in there when they were using it as a spare room. Legit I feel like a child that's been upgraded to their big girl room. So that's all happened and I'm also being allowed to 'retheme' the room to however I like... naturally I've gone with Harry Potter as my theme, so that's gonna be great when its finished! It'll take some time cause #moneyisabitch but when it's done I'll be sure to post some before and after pics!
I also had my final eye test and got my new glasses ordered yesterday which seems like completely dull but let me explain why it is not... 8 ish years ago when I went for a routine eye test some irregularities in my scans got picked up. No one knew what they were or if they would affect me in any way so I was sent to the eye clinic and again they didn't know what it was so nothing was done. and that was is for like 6 years but 2 years ago when I was again at a routine eye test it was picked up that the irregularities had changed. They'd gotten worse. So I was sent back to the eye clinic and after months of tests and seeing different specialists, I was finally seen by someone who just happened to specialise in what I have, Its a rare eye condition that even the majority of eye doctors are unfamiliar with and It was just chance that the consultant I saw they day knew about it and had specialised in it as a new diagnosable condition. It's called PIC (Punctate Inner Choroidopathy) and it's a form of white dot syndrome that causes weaknesses in the back of the eye that results in a build up of blood and fluid which then goes on to cause macular degeneration. Because macular degeneration is generally related to the older generation, it wasn't even considered for me before the PIC got picked up (no pun intended). Once diagnosed I was seen only by that specialist which was finally a massive leap In the right direction for me, the only problem was that treatment for the condition was still in testing and because of my age even less testing had taken place that was relevant to me. It took a lot of applications for treatment and me basically losing my sight in my left eye for it to finally be given the go ahead and although the thought of recovery was exciting it took a long time for me to get over the fear of what the treatment would be. Injections into the eye. 6 months of treatment later I entered remission and have been there ever since.

Last months I got the go ahead that the scaring was forming well enough that my sight wont change again unless a freak reactivation happens which meant I could finally get myself some new glasses! The problem with getting them before was that with every injection and while the healing process was happening, my vision was constantly changing, so it would have been pointless, but not anymore! My sight in my left eye is significantly worse than that in my right eye, and my current glasses don't compensate for that. When I got my eye test done and my prescription confirmed I was shocked at just how clear I'd be able to see with my new lenses. In two weeks time I'll be picking up my new (designer - decided to treat myself this time!) glasses, marking the end of what has been a painful, terrifying and uncertain time in my life. Hows that for a feel good story?!

So that's gonna be it from me today, I have many things to be getting on with but I shall be back tomorrow to let you know how I got on!
Until next time
