Hello, Happy Saturday!

So today marks a pretty vital part for me as far as my weight loss journey goes... I've been going to the gym for the last couple of weeks just to readjust myself to the whole thing but today I officially got my gym plan from my instructor! I feel really motivated to smash this plan out the water for the six weeks I do it so fingers crossed everything will go well and I would say officially I have started my journey to size 12 as of today. How exciting!
While we're here I also want to talk about the importance of small victories. I've been experiencing a few myself recently and they've made me feel just as optimistic and motivated as I would feel having achieved some huge amazing thing. They mark progress in what can be a huge task so that you know you're on the right track and its so important to recognise the amazing work you're doing along the way as well as celebrating a final result! So for a while me size has meant I haven't exactly got on with bath towels to cover myself up after a shower when going from the bathroom to my bedroom. I'd have to hope it up because I couldn't tuck it in on the other side, it simply wouldn't fit.

Today though, it did! Like only just, but it means that what I'm doing to lose weight is working and that I am finally o the right track to achieving my bigger goal. It felt awesome, just a small thing like that and I had a massive 'HELL YES GO ME!' moment. This is just one of the small victories I've experiences recently and the more I learn to recognise them, the better I'll be a rewarding myself and knowing that I can push on to whatever comes next.
In other news, I say the Kia Stinger, AKA my dream car, on the road for the first time ever yesterday... I was queueing in traffic at a roundabout and one just pulled up next to me. The poor guys that was driving it must have thought I was a right weirdo, just sat there in my car gawking out the window at him and his car! It was beautiful though and I cannot wait to have one for myself!
That's all from me for today.
Enjoy your weekends!
Robyn
